Messianic World Update: Iran's Nuclear Ambitions and Middle East Tensions

Shalom everyone! This is Monte Judah from Lion and Lamb Ministries. Today’s date is Wednesday, February 7th of the year 2024. I’m coming to you early this week due to some scheduling issues, but I wanted to fill you in on the latest updates from around the world.

Firstly, I present to you the situation in Iran. It is now being speculated that Iran has enough nuclear material to enrich and create up to six nuclear weapons. Though it requires further enrichment, as their current stockpile is near 60% and they need to reach 90% to attain weapons-grade material, it is believed that this could be achieved within a month.

Once achieved, Iran will face a crucial decision – will they build nuclear weapons? This decision, to the best of our knowledge, has yet to be made. They will then possess the material needed to construct a bomb but will still require a delivery system, such as a missile - a process that would require more time.

Switching focus to the Middle East, we see a tense situation unfolding. Iran is believed to be paying Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, a whopping $154 million for his services! This is a clear indication that Iran is directing this conflict, not for the benefit of the Palestinian people, but rather to further their own objectives and fuel their hatred towards Israel.

The situation between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border remains critical. Israel is insisting that Hezbollah move away from the border to avoid cross-border raiding, as per the agreement put in place by the UN. The non-compliance from Hezbollah has led to Israel hinting at military action to force them away from the border.

Lastly, let's touch on the situation with the Houthi rebels in Yemen and Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria. Despite the U.S. attacking these forces, they continue their assaults, bringing into question the effectiveness of the U.S. strategy, which seemingly lacks the element of surprise.

In these trying times, I urge all of you to pray for Israel, the safe return of the hostages, the safety of IDF soldiers, and for our troops and sailors stationed in the Middle East.
